Out-of-This-World Work With an Out-of-This-World Cast

Even one episode of Gabby Duran & The Unsittables was enough to completely steal my heart. This Disney Channel sci-fi comedy had such a specific, inventive voice — and the people making it cared deeply about every detail.

Created and executive produced by Mike Alber and Gabe Snyder, alongside the legendary Joe Nussbaum (who you’ll recognize from Just Add Magic!), this show built a rich world of extraterrestrial kids hiding in plain sight in a small Colorado town. The creative team brought imagination and heart to every episode, and it showed.

Kylie Cantrall as Gabby Duran is a force — funny, fearless, and completely committed to whatever wild scenario each episode threw at her. Watching her work with Nathan Lovejoy, Callan Farris, Coco Christo, Maxwell Acee Donovan, and Valery Ortiz was a genuine joy. This cast made you believe in talking aliens, shapeshifting blobs, and the power of a truly great babysitter. So much love for the whole Gabby family — what a show, what a ride!
